The Curious Garden

Follow a boy named Liam as he changes a gray city to a lush garden world, inspiring the people around him along the way. Together participants will discover all that a plant needs to survive and learn that anyone can make a change. Afterwards, participants will have the opportunity to plant the seed that could start their own garden!

Digging Deeper: Discovering the Importance of Soil

Together we will discover the role soil plays in supporting life on Earth. We will examine soil samples, create a recipe for soil, make a soil shaker, and test our art skills by making mud paintings.

Wiggly Worms

Learn all about worms and the important role they play in the environment. We will read a Diary of a Worm, conduct worm "experiments" and learn how you can use worms at home to compost your food scraps!

Watersheds, Macros, and Me

We all live in a watershed. Together we can make a difference in ensuring our waterways are clean. Children will conduct hands-on experiments to determine how pollution enters our waterways. We will also look into the magical world of macrointervertebras and investigate how they can help us to determine water quality.
