The management of invasive insects and disease control is a crucial responsibility of local conservation districts. Strategies for controlling non-native species and diseases include monitoring, education, and control methods.
These efforts are essential to preserve the local environment and protect against the economic and ecological impacts of invasive species and disease outbreaks.
