Celebrate our anniversary with us!
2021 marks the 75th year that the Berks County Conservation District has been serving the community. Since our inauguration, the district has been guiding and advising the public regarding the county’s natural resources and how to use them wisely.
What started as a district devoted solely to soil conservation slowly evolved into a group of people who sought to conserve Berks County’s soil, water, wildlife, and much more. Today, the district educates the public on topics such as erosion, insect management, best farmland practices, as well as general conservation methods.
