FarmFarm Conservation Planning
These programs assist farmers with survey, design and layout of conservation practices. These practices may include contour strips, crop rotation, conservation tillage diversions, grassed waterways, wind breaks, wildlife habitat, nutrient management manure storage, stream bank fencing and buffer strips.

Request for Assistance – Fill out the SC-1 Form and submit to the BCCD for conservation planning assistance.

Chesapeake Bay Program
The goal of this program is to reduce nutrient and sediment runoff from farms in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. This is accomplished by the installation of Best Management Practices (BMPs).

PA State Growing Greener Grants

Growing Greener is the largest single investment of state funds in Pennsylvania’s history to address Pennsylvania’s critical environmental concerns of the 21st century.
